Basic White Rice

Makes 2 cups

  • 1 cup dry long grain rice
  • 2 cups water

Put rice and water in a pot. Place on burner on high heat and bring to a rapid boil, stirring frequently to make sure the rice doesn't stick.

Once its boiling, reduce heat to low and cover with lid. Let sit for 15 min. Once 15 min is up, take off heat, uncover and fluff with a fork. Let sit another 5 min and its ready!
